Marathon Training: Weeks 11, 12, 13 & 14

Training has been going very well!  I’m in week 14 with about 6 weeks left until The Big One.  That’s 42 days from now.  42 days… that’s it… that makes me VERY nervous! However, we’ve gotten up to 16 miles in our training and I am getting mentally prepared for 18 miles next weekend.  <gulp>

I am so in love with my Team in Training support system- an amazing group of people providing me with all the tools I need (mentally and physically) to succeed. I would not be able to do this without them.  I also met my fund raising goal of $1800- woo  hoo!- but have been so moved by the cause that I am determined to raise more, upping my goal to $2400.  I know I can do it- the miles and the fund raising! Like Coach Al says all the time…

and I am doing the damn thing, Coach- all the damn time!
